Description and Local Attractions
Murphy Island is located on the St. Johns River, south of Palatka, at the juncture of the St. Johns River and Dunns Creek. This property is accessible only by boat.
This campsite has a fire ring, benches, portable restroom and picnic table. The campsite is further in the property to the right. The area near the dock is for the day users, not for camping.
You will not have exclusive use of the property during the day as others can visit the property.

This is a wilderness area, with few amenities and we do not have staff to check visitors in nor clean up after each user group. You should bring plenty of drinking water, trash bags, bug spray & fire wood with you. You must take all trash with you, leave the campsite clean & extinguish the campfire when you leave.
