Idaho Power operates and maintains multiple day use facilities within the Hagerman Valley. The projects are provided for all members of the public without discrimination. The reservoirs and project related recreational facilities provide opportunities for boating, fishing, hunting, wildlife viewing, hiking, picnicking, geocaching and a variety of other activities.  

The diverse underwater habitat of the Snake River is home to several fish species, including trout, bass, sturgeon, catfish and bluegill. Idaho Power cooperates with federal, state and local agencies to provide public access to this area of the Snake River. Idaho Power strives to protect and enhance water quality, fish, wildlife, botanical, historical, archaeological, paleontological and aesthetic resources associated with its hydroelectric projects.
